Embark on this 11 days trip in a small group tour, covering the history of the United States of America. Begin your tour of Washington DC, with a historic trip to Mount Vernon George Washington’s estate. Proceed to Yorktown and Williamsburg including an excursion to the Jamestown Settlement. Take a guided tour of Thomas Jefferson’s estate in Monticello. Visit the Woodrow Wilson Library at Staunton and take a drive through the Shenandoah National Park. Itinerary

Day 1 : Washington DC

Arrive at Washington DC, you will be transferred to your hotel check in at 15:00 hrs. meet with your traveling companions and tour director for a welcome drink at 18:00 hrs. Stay at the Capital Hilton for 2 nights on a bed & breakfast basis.

Day 2 : Washington DC & Mount Vernon

Go on a sightseeing tour of Washington DC which includes the Vietnam, Korean War Memorials, Lincoln Memorial, White House & Capitol Hill. Proceed to Mount Vernon on a guided tour of George Washington’s estates & Gardens. Go for dinner at a popular restaurant & proceed for an illumination tour of the Monuments.

Day 3 : Fredericksburg – Yorktown – Williamsburg

After breakfast, check out, drive out to Fredericksburg with an orientation tour, visit the Yorktown and York battlefield park and reach Williamsburg. Stay here for 2 nights on a bed & breakfast basis at the Williamsburg Woodlands Hotel & suites.

Day 4 : Jamestown Settlement Excursion

Williamsburg tour, with a private performance by historian Sylvia Tabb Lee, tour the Jamestown settlement, and return to the colonial Williamsburg historic park by afternoon. Colonial style dinner in the evening with the group.

Day 5 : Richmond – Monticello – Staunton

After Breakfast, check out and head to Richmond for a tour and visit the St. John’s church with a local guide, then head to Monticello for a guided tour of Thomas Jefferson’s estate, Reach Staunton. stay at the Hotel 24 South for 1 night on a bed & breakfast basis.

Day 6 : Shenandoah National Park

After breakfast checkout, visit the Woodrow Wilson presidential library, embark on a scenic drive to Shenandoah national park stay at the Skyland resort for 1 night on dinner, bed & breakfast basis.

Day 7 : Harpers Ferry national historical park & Gettysburg

Checkout, have your breakfast, visit the harpers Ferry historic park, reach Gettysburg and do a tour with a local guide at Gettysburg National Military Park. Have dinner in a colonial style at the Dobbin house Tavern. Stay at the Gettysburg Hotel for 1 night on bed & breakfast basis.

Day 8 : Valley Forge & Philadelphia

Visit the Ulysses S Grant presentation, drive to Valley forge National park and tour Washington’s camp site, and reach Philadelphia. Dinner at the Moshulu Tall Ship. Stay at the Marriott Philadelphia Old city for 1 night on a bed & breakfast basis.

Day 9 : Baltimore - Washington DC

Guided city tour of Philadelphia, proceed to Baltimore and reach Washington DC by evening. Stay at the Capital Hilton for 2 nights on a bed & breakfast basis.
