Day 1 : Tokyo
Today upon Arrival in Tokyo, you will be met by our representative who will transfer you to your hotel. Day at leisure.
Day 2 : Tokyo
Today, a guided city tour of Tokyo. Your first stop will be at Meiji Shrine, a magnificent 20th-century Shinto monument set in a man-made forest. Then proceed to the Samurai Museum to learn about their history and see authentic period-specific swords, armor, and kabuto (helmets). Continue your visit to Shinjuku Gyoen Garden which dates back to the early 1600s. Finally, visit the bustling Nakamise shopping arcade and Asakusa Kannon Temple, the oldest of their kind in Tokyo. In the evening, enjoy a sunset cruise on the bay relaxing and enjoy the evening in Tokyo.
Day 3 : Mt. Fuji & Hakone
Full day tour of Mount Fuji & Hakone with lunch and cruise on Lake Ashi. Overnight stay in the hotel in Tokyo.
Day 4 : Kyoto
Today after breakfast and check out, transfer to the train station to board your train to Kyoto. Upon arrival you will be met by our representative who will transfer you to your hotel. Day at leisure.
Day 5 : Kyoto
Enjoy a private guided tour of Kyoto, your first stop will be at Kinkakuji, Temple of the Gold Pavilion, covered with shimmering gold leaf. Continue on a walking tour through Gion, Kyoto’s most famous geisha district, which is also known for its high concentration of machiya-style merchant houses. Then stop at Sanjusangendo Temple, famous for 1,001 statues of Kannon, the Buddhist goddess of mercy. The tour ends with a visit to Fushimi Inari Shrine, renowned for the thousands of brightly colored Torii Gates.
Day 6 : Nara
Guided tour of Nara, which is Japan's oldest Buddhist temples and most ancient treasures, Nara is also the first permanent capital of Japan during the 8th century.
Day 7 : Osaka
Check out of the hotel and drive to Osaka for a short city tour, get dropped off at the airport for your flight back home with Memories of Japan.
