Itinerary
Day 1 : Sigiriya
Arrive at the Bandaranaike International Airport, meet your driver and proceed to Sigiriya—enroute Break for Lunch. Upon arrival, check-in and spend the next 3nights in Dambulla.
Day 2 : Sigiriya
After an early breakfast at the hotel, transfer to the Sigiriya Lion's Rock fortress built on a rock mountain 2500 years ago (Famous as the 8th Wonder of the world & A UNESCO world Heritage Site). After lunch, proceed to Anuradhapura, enjoy sightseeing, and return to the hotel in Dambulla.
Day 3 : Kandy
After breakfast at the hotel, check out and transfer to Kandy to visit Dambulla Cave Temple, a vast isolated rock mass. It is said that King Valagam Bahu took refuge in the 1st century B.C. He later turned the caves into a rock temple. Thereafter, visit the spice gardens of Matale. After checking in, relax for some time, and then visit The Temple of Sacred Tooth Relic and the cultural dance show. Overnight in Kandy.
Day 4 : Nuwara Eliya
After breakfast at the hotel, check out and transfer to Nuwara Eliya (Hill/Tea Country). Enroute stop to visit the Tea Factory, Water Fall, Hanuman Temple, etc.. Check in. Nuwara Eliya resembles an old English town with a lake, race track, and well-kept lawns with hedges. Visit Gregory’s Lake, Queen Victoria Park, the Golf Club, the Tea factory and plantation, colonial buildings, etc... Horse riding / Pony riding / Boating is also available, which you can opt for directly. Overnight in Nuwara Eliya.
Day 5 : Yala National Park
After breakfast in the hotel, check out and proceed towards Yala. En route, stop to visit the Sita Amman temple, Ashoka Vatika, Nine Arches Bridge, and the Kataragama Temple complex. Upon arrival, check-in and go for an evening safari at the Yala National Park.
Day 6 : Galle
After your tea/ coffee and packed breakfast from the hotel, proceed to Yala National Park for a wildlife safari. Post-safari, proceed directly to Galle to visit the Dutch Fort and overnight in Galle.
Day 7 : Bentota
After breakfast at the hotel, checkout & transfer to Bentota enroute to Turtle Farm. Then proceed to Malu Bana Water Sports Centre, just 5 minutes away from the hotel, where you can indulge in water sports activities. Check in and relax. Overnight in Bentota.
Day 8 : Colombo
After breakfast at the hotel, checkout & transfer to Colombo. En route to the Colombo city tour, Colombo is the largest city and former administrative capital of Sri Lanka. It is a busy and vibrant city with a mixture of modern life and remnants of a bygone colonial era. *Galle face *Gangaramaya Temple and Seema Malakaya *Lotus tower * Old Parliament * Prime Minister house. Transfer to the Colombo International Airport to take your flight home with happy memories
