Itinerary

Day 1 : Auckland

Upon arrival at Auckland international airport, you will be met by our representative who will transfer you to the hotel. Spend the rest of the day at leisure.

Day 2 : Auckland

Enjoy a half day guided city tour of Auckland and then proceed on a cruise on Waitemata Harbor for spectacular views of Auckland and its surroundings. Spend the evening at leisure.

Day 3 : Waitomo and Rotorua

Check out, get ready to experience the Hobbiton movie set from The Lord of the Rings and The Hobbit films. Then continue your visit to Waitomo, enjoy a boat trip through the Waitomo Glowworm Caves and proceed to Rotorua. Upon arrival check-in and spend the evening at leisure. Overnight stay in a hotel in Rotorua.

Day 4 : Rotorua

Guided tour visits to Te Puia, Rainbow Springs Nature Park, and the Agrodome. Spend the afternoon at leisure or you can explore the geothermal wonderland on your own. In the evening, opt for any of the optional tours. For dinner, experience the Hangi dinner (roasted meats and vegetables cooked underground with hot stones) followed by an authentic Māori (indigenous Polynesian people) cultural performance with singing, dancing, and storytelling.

Day 5 : Wellington

Transfer to the airport for your flight to Wellington. Upon arrival transfer to the hotel and check in. Spend the day at leisure.

Day 6 : Wellington

Full day guided tour of Wellington, visit the famous Beehive and Parliament buildings and enjoy the scenic views from the top of Mount Victoria. Your next stop will be Wellington Botanical Gardens, then proceed for a drive through the rugged Wellington coastline, explore the hidden bays and Wellington’s most popular beaches.

Day 7 : Christchurch

Today after breakfast, check out from your hotel, you will be transferred to the airport for your flight to Christchurch. Upon arrival you will be met by our representative who will transfer you to the hotel for check in. Spend the rest of the day at leisure.

Day 8 : Akaroa & Christchurch

Half day tour of Akaroa, a former French and British settlement, explore the charming village with its colonial architecture, galleries, and cafés. Then board a nature cruise on Akaroa Harbor and experience some of the native wildlife, including New Zealand fur seals, the white-flippered blue penguin, and the Hector’s dolphin, one of the smallest and rarest in the world. Arrive Christchurch in the afternoon and do a city tour of Christchurch for a few hours.

Day 9 : Mount Cook

Today after breakfast, checkout & drive to Mount Cook via Canterbury Plains to the shores of turquoise-blue Lake Tekapo, where the Southern Alps exhibits the backdrop for a stunning photo. Then proceed your drive to Mount Cook National Park. Arrive and check into the hotel. Spend the rest of the day at leisure.

Day 10 : Lake Pukaki & Queenstown

Today drive down & past Lake Pukaki and rugged Mackenzie Basin via Omarama, to Queenstown known as the “Adventure Capital of the World”. Upon Arrival check in and stay at Queenstown.

Day 11 : Miford Sound

Proceed on a full day tour of Milford Sound. Drive along the shores of Lake Wakatipu to Te Anau, which is the gateway to Fiordland National Park. Get Stunned at the Mirror Lakes passing through Eglinton Valley. Pass the Homer Tunnel, enter into Cleddau Valley and board your Milford Sound cruise for a thrilling experience. Don’t miss the wildlife such as dolphins and penguins, experience the breathtaking waterfalls and scenery. Return to Queenstown.

Day 12 : Queenstown

Today After Breakfast, spend the day at leisure or choose to experience the optional tours et boat ride, visit a local winery, or tour some of the sights used to film The Lord of the Rings trilogy. Overnight in Queenstown.
