Day 1 : Rio De Janeiro
Arrive at Rio De Janeiro, you will be transferred to your hotel. Stay here at the Hilton Copacabana for 3 nights on a bed & breakfast basis.
Day 2 : Rio De Janeiro
Private city tour, and a tour to the top of the Corcovado Mountain to see the Christ the Redeemer statue.
Day 3 : Rio De Janeiro
Free day at leisure. Option of doing a 4X4 jeep tour in Rio.
Day 4 : Iguazu Falls
Fly out to Iguassu falls, spend the afternoon on a private guided tour. Check into the Bourbon Cataratas Hotel and stay for 2 nights on a bed & breakfast basis.
Day 5 : Iguazu Falls
Embark on the Argentinian side of the Iguazu falls, ride the ecological jungle train & enjoy a private walking tour.
Day 6 : Manaus
Fly to Manaus, do a private guided sightseeing tour, stay in the Blue tree Premium for 1 night on bed & breakfast basis.
Day 7 : Amazon Cruise
Embark on a cruise of the Amazon for the next 3 nights with stops being made to explore the Amazon jungle. Stay on the Iberostar Grand Amazon for 3 nights on a full board basis.
Day 8 : Amazon rainforest with Piranha Fishing
This morning, board a panga boat ride to shore and embark on a Naturalist-guided walk through the rainforest in the Manacapurú region. Along the trail, learn how native people subsist off the flora. You’ll also hear about some of the medicinal qualities each plant possesses. Keep an eye open for capuchin and howler monkeys! After a lecture on the region and lunch on board, head back out via panga and try your hand at piranha fishing. Tonight, take a night cruise along the waterways on a caiman-spotting expedition.
Day 9 : Amazon cruising
Enjoy the sunrise over the Amazon on a bird-watching safari in search of the many endemic birds of the Janauacá Lake region. Later, visit a local home for an up-close view of how the native communities live and work. This afternoon, cruise the Amazon tributaries, looking for wildlife. Your final evening on board begins with a gala dinner, followed by a Brazilian folkloric show.
Day 10 : Manaus
Disembark at Manaus where your vacation ends, take your flight back home with Memories of Brazil!
