Day 1ARRIVE DELHI

  • Upon arrival at Delhi International airport, you will be met by the representative of Praxis Representative in an Indian traditional style. After meet and greet, you will be escorted to your pre booked. Dinner and night stay in the hotel.
  • HOTEL : 5 Star Le Meridian with Dinner and Breakfast.

Day 2DELHI SIGHTSEEING

  • Once you are done with the breakfast at hotel, proceed for full day sightseeing tour of Delhi. Starting the tour with the Old Delhi which includes the famous sites such as Red Fort (Drive Past) – architectural marvel built in red sandstone by the Mughal emperor Shah Jahan, Jama Masjid – this religious shrine is the largest mosque in India, Raj Ghat – The place where Mahatma Gandhi was cremated. Later visit Chandni Chowk market – it is the busiest, oldest, most attractive markets in Delhi, as one can see the streets full of culture here. To explore this market completely, we will take a decorated Rickshaw ride, which will take us through the main streets. If your stomach allows, you can taste here some oily street foods.
  • Enjoy Lunch in Chor Bazaar restaurant / similar in Old Delhi.
  • After Old Delhi, we drive to New Delhi to see some of the architectural wonders here. Drive past through India Gate, Rashrapati Bhawan – President’s Palace. In New Delhi, visit Qutab Minar – It is the largest building a fine Mughal architecture put together with red sandstone and white marble and Humayun Tomb – Humayun Tomb built by his wife after death of Humayun. Last but not the least, also visit Gurudwara Bangla Sahib – It is a Sikh temple dedicated to eight Guru of Sikh Shri Harikishen Dev and is one the most historical place in Delhi.

Day 3DELHI TO AGRA (205 Kms/ 5 hrs)

  • Morning after breakfast, drive to Agra. Reach Agra and enjoy sightseeing tour of Agra visit Taj Mahal (Closed on Fridays) “Monument of Love” one of the Seven Wonders of the World surely the most extravagant expression of love ever created. 20,000 men labored for over 17 years to build this memorial to Shah Jahan’s beloved wife. The Taj is at its most alluring in the relative quiet of early morning, shrouded in mists and bathed with a soft red glow. A journey to Taj Mahal can be more enjoyable when you reach the monument on Tonga (Horse Cart) ride. The horse drawn carriage will make your trip to city of Taj more memorable and blessed on a day tour to Taj Mahal.
  • Later we will visit the Agra fort – the rusty and majestic red-sandstone fort of Agra stands on the banks of the river Yamuna and the construction was started by Emperor Akbar in 1566 and Itmad-Ud-Daulah Tomb also known as “Baby Taj”.
  • Optional visit : An optional visit to the famous show ‘Mohhabat-e-Taj’ can be arranged for individual or the group upon request at additional price. This is one hour stage show (English and Hindi only) based on the life of creators of Taj Mahal. The show is available mostly during the winter tourist season time.

Day 4AGRA – JAIPUR (225 KMS / 05-06 HRS)

  • After breakfast, drive to Jaipur – it is the capital city of Rajasthan and also known as Pink city.
  • Enroute stop at Abhaneri village to see the amazingly crafted Chand Baori step well.
  • On the way, also pay your visit the ghost city of Fatehpur Sikri which lies about 30 kms out of Agra city on the highway. Fatehpur Sikri is the best example of the culmination of Hindu and Muslim architecture. Fatehpur Sikri served as the capital of Mughal Empire for about 15 years and they moved to Agra due to lack of water availability near Fatehpur.
  • Upon arrival, check-in at the Hotel.
  • Special evening organised for you in a local city restaurant where you will taste local food while enjoying folk dances performed by local artists.Overnight stay at Jaipur.
  • HOTEL : 5 Star Radisson Blu with Breakfast and Dinner at City restaurant.

Day 5IN JAIPUR

  • Today, go for an excursion to Amer fort located atop the Aravali hills, it was the ancient capital of Jaipur. We ascend to the fort in a royal style by riding on the Elephant’s back. Amber fort is constructed of white and red sandstone .It is a blend of both the Hindu and Muslim style of ornamentation when we look the interiors of the fort which are designed with murals and frescoes.
  • Return back to the city. Enroute, take a photo stop at Jal Mahal. Continue the city tour and visit City Palace in the heart of Jaipur is known for its blend of Rajasthani and Mughal architecture. Very close to this is the Central Museum with its huge collection of jewellery, colorful costumes, woodwork, jewellery, costumes, brassware, and pottery. We would also see Jantar Mantar, which is the largest of the five observatories built by Sawai Jai Singh. The Hawa Mahal or the Palace of Winds.
    Evening, visit Birla Mandir – The temple is sometimes also referred to as the Laxmi Narayan Temple. The Temple is dedicated to Lord Vishnu (Narayan), the preserver and his consort Lakshmi, the Goddess of wealth. Return to the hotel for dinner and overnight stay.

  • Optional: Early morning, you have the option to enjoy a hot air balloon flight over the pink city of Jaipur, giving you the opportunity to float above forts and palaces and village settlements beneath. It can be arranged on request.

Day 6JAIPUR TO JAISALMER BY FLIGHT

  • Morning after breakfast, you will be transferred to Jaipur airport from where board your flight to Jaisalmer. Arrive Jaisalmer and get assisted transfer and check into the Suryagarh Palace. Spend rest of the time at leisure.
  • Jaisalmer, in the Great Indian Thar Desert. Architecturally, the city has a wonderful legacy of old buildings, united by the common use of local yellow stone and beautifully preserved due to the isolated location. Enclosed by an imposing sandstone wall, the fort stands on a hill 250 ft. high. Dinner and night stay in Jaisalmer.
  • HOTEL : 5 star SURYAGARH with Breakfast and Dinner.

Day 7IN JAISALMER

  • Today morning after breakfast explore the Jaisalmer city covering Jaisalmer Fort, constructed in the year 1156 by Raja Rawal Jaisal on the brink of an 80m elevated hill. It is the only ‘Living Fort’ in India where several families redsides in till date. Various charming Havelis (old house) are another attraction of this city, we visit the glorious Patwon Ki Haveli and Gadisagar Lake.
  • In evening enjoy the excursion tour to Sam Sand Dunes which lies 40 kms far from the main Jaisalmer city. There enjoy the camel ride and get the real sense of desert life amidst endless mounts of sands.
  • Later in evening back to the hotel for dinner and night stay in Jaisalmer.

Day 8JAISALMER TO JODHPUR (310 KMS/ 6 HRS)

  • After breakfast, drive to Rajasthan. One of the most famous tourist destination of Rajasthan and a favourite destination for photographers, Jodhpur is situated in the Thar Desert of Rajasthan. Also known as the ‘Blue City’ for its blue colour painted houses and buildings in the old part of the city.
  • A 240 kms and about 4-5 hours drive brings you to the ancient town of ‘Osiyan’ (or Osian). Situated about 65 kms off Jodhpur near jaisalmer-Jodhpur highway Osiyan is surrounded by golden sand dunes and hamlet. Osiyan was also known as a prominent trading centre on silk route. Visit Jain Temple in Osian (No guide service in Osian). Reach Jodhpur and check into Hotel Radisson.
  • Further proceed to Jodhpur and visit the magnificent Mehrangarh Fort situated on a 150 meter high hill. The fort of Mehrangarh still has the marks of various battles fought by the royal kings of Jodhpur. Also visit Jaswant Thada the while marble cenotaph.
  • In the evening walk along the streets and bazaars near the famous Clock Tower of Jodhpur. There is a small spice market near the Clock Tower which surely will attract your attention.
  • Dinner and night stay in Jodhpur.

Day 9JODHPUR TO UDAIPUR VIA RANAKPUR (275 KMS)

  • After breakfast, drive to Udaipur en-route visiting Ranakpur– The beautifully sculptured Jain temples lie in a tranquil valley of the Aravallis. The main ‘Chaumukha Temple’ is dedicated to the Tirthankara Adinath and has 29 halls supported by 1444 pillars, all distinctly carved. Two jain temples dedicated to Neminath and Parsvanath & a Sun Temple a little distance away are also noteworthy.
  • On arrival in Udaipur, check-in at your hotel.
  • Udaipur: Glimmering over clear cerulean water lakes, The Jewel of Mewar located in Aravali hills is famous as city of lakes. Artistic creations are illustrious with its Grotesque Forts, Opulent Palaces, Adorable Lakes, Marvelous Temples, and Endearing Mountains with its unique serene location has become the most popular attractions amongst the tourist across the Globe. This heritage city is being the choice of the traveler for its commingling of traditions with modernity. Dinner and night stay in Udaipur.

Day 10IN UDAIPUR

  • After breakfast, set out for the city tour of Udaipur. There are many places to be seen during the sightseeing tour of this serene city which includes Palaces, lakes and temples scattered around the city.
  • Visit the Royal City Palace – it is a beautiful palace located on the banks of Lake Pichola and attracts a large number of visitors towards its majestic beauty, Sahelion Ki Bari known as the Garden of Maidens; it has beautiful fountains, lotus pool, lawns, flowerbeds, and marble pavilions and Jagdish Temple dedicated to Lord Jagannath.
  • If time permit, you may also visit Shilpgram – This Craftsmen’s Village is a wonderful place to see the different traditions and culture of India as this government-owned complex showcases the rural life of Rajasthan, Maharashtra, Gujarat and Goa. One can also enjoy horse and camel rides along with traditional dance and music.
  • In the evening, enjoy boat ride on Lake Pichola. Travel along the beautiful Lake Palace which is set amidst the lake. Once the Summer Palace of the royal family today Lake Palace is a luxurious hotel run by India’s reputed Taj Group of Hotels. The boat ride takes you to Jag Mandir Island where you can get off and spend some time watching the beauty of the main land Udaipur dotted with many forts, palaces and houses along the lake, during the dark. Dinner and night stay in Udaipur.

Day 11DEPARTURE FROM UDAIPUR

  • After breakfast in the hotel, your tour comes to an end today as you depart from Udaipur airport to Delhi/Chennai/Mumbai from where board your connecting flight back to home. A timely airport transfer will be arranged for you by Praxis representative.
